Abstract:   (374 Views)
Bioinformatic is a science that uses computer knowledge in molecular genome fields or in other words, it’s a computational science for huge molecular analysis. Development of genomic and proteomic databases and data analysis requirements cause Bioinformatics emergence. The role of bioinformatic in pharmaceutical industry is undeniable. Apply of drug designing softwares and bioinformatic analyses not only accelerate diagnosis of drug targets, but also facilitate the diagnosis of drug side effects and resistance. Nowadays bioinformatic is used for evaluating drug effects, producing the most effective drugs and reducing drug production costs. Overall current review is about impact of bioinformatic in drug designing process and several papers are used to explain bioinformatics and drug discovery, drug target validation, cost reduction, promote novel/new drug development, barriers to pharmacogenomics progress in drug designing and development,  pharmacogenomics in drug discovery and development.
Finally it can be concluded that drug designing is a complicated process that using bioinformatic can fasilitate this process by producing more effective drugs, reducing drug cost and resistance.
