About the Journal

Health Research and Development Journal is the official peer-reviewed quarterly journal of Torbat Jam Faculty of Medical Sciences, Iran. The journal publishes a wide range of original, applied, and innovative research articles in various fields of medical sciences and public health.

The mission of the journal is to promote scientific knowledge and awareness by disseminating novel, evidence-based, and practical research findings that contribute to the improvement of health and healthcare systems.

The journal received its initial approval from the National Commission of Medical Sciences Journals of Iran in its 123rd session (September 21, 2021). It officially commenced publication after obtaining a publishing license from the Press Supervisory Board of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance (License No. 96345).

Furthermore, the journal was awarded the Scientific–Research Rank by the National Commission of Medical Sciences Journals of Iran in its 144th session (October 19, 2025).

Aims and Scope

The aims and scope of the Health Research and Development Journal include:

• Expanding scientific knowledge through the publication of original and innovative research in medical sciences and public health

• Strengthening scientific communication and knowledge exchange among researchers and healthcare professionals

• Promoting community health and evidence-based decision-making
