Hypoglycemia is one of the most common and serious complications of diabetes, and if left unmanaged, it can lead to severe health consequences and impaired job performance. A hidden challenge in the workplace is the silence of diabetic employees regarding hypoglycemia symptoms due to psychological, social, and economic concerns. This phenomenon, especially critical in high-risk professions, stems from the lack of structural and cultural support in the work environment. This letter highlights the multifaceted nature of this issue and offers policy recommendations to create a more supportive environment for diabetic employees.
