Aims and Scope
Iranian Journal of Health Research and Development (Iran J Health Res Dev) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality scholarly work across a broad range of disciplines in medical sciences, public health, and healthcare research. The journal aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for the dissemination of scientifically rigorous and ethically sound research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge, clinical practice, healthcare delivery, and health systems.
The journal’s mission is to promote the generation, dissemination, and application of evidence that can improve individual and population health and support evidence-informed decision-making in research, education, practice, and health policy. Iran J Health Res Dev welcomes contributions from researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, and policy scholars whose work addresses current and emerging issues in medicine, health, and healthcare at local, national, regional, and international levels.

Scope of the Journal
The journal considers manuscripts in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • contribute to the development of reliable and up-to-date scientific knowledge; and
  • support the improvement of health outcomes, healthcare delivery, and health systems.
